Dr. Trisha Ballard has had 18 years of surgical experience. She is skilled in performing many surgeries, including spays and neuters, cesarean sections, tumor removals, cystotomies, anal gland sacculectomies, thyroidectomies, facial fold and entropion surgeries, declawing, gastric and intestinal foreign body removal and many other surgical procedures. We use up-to-date protocols for anesthesia (including reversible anesthetics) and patient monitoring by pulseometry and respiratory monitors for the most pain-free experience for your pet. We also use narcotic pain medications post surgically for all patients. We can manage pain with pharmaceuticals, Chinese herbs, homeopathic remedies and glucosamine. Dr. Ballard is trained in modern surgical techniques should your pet require a surgical procedure. We offer a full range of soft tissue surgeries from routine spays and neuters to more advanced procedures.  We also offer state-of-the-art Sevoflourane and Isoflourane anesthesia and a heated & padded surgical table to ensure your pet's comfort.

Veterinary Radiology

Our modern X-Ray equipment ensures your pet has minimal exposure to radiation, while our automatic processor produces clear, quality films.  Within minutes, we can have your pet's veterinary X-rays taken, processed and ready for interpretation by our doctor. 

We believe in aggressive pain management to make your pet's post-operative recuperation less traumatic. We offer both traditional anti-inflammatory and narcotic pain medications and homeopathic medications by injection.  Post-operative medications for pain are available by tablet, or compounded in flavored syrups.
